MEET HOWARD

 Leadership You Can Trust.

WHERE I COME FROM

As a father, faith leader, and veteran school administrator Howard Jones, Jr. will bring a unique perspective, strong faith, and inspirational work ethic to city hall.

From his time serving in the Juvenile Court System to acquiring Kingdom Cafe & Grill, Howard continues to give back to the community through programmatic initiatives committed to improving the life trajectory of marginalized people from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Bold, Pragmatic Leader he has devoted his life to fighting for living-wage jobs, access to affordable housing, food insecurity, and an equitable and just public safety system.

WHY YOUR VOTE MATTERS

Davidson County needs an At-Large Council Member who is concerned about the next generation, not just the next four years. This is no time for someone who represents the status quo. We need to prepare Davidson County for the jobs of the future, not just focus on the past.

The big issues that Nashvillians face – violent crime, high property taxes, and under-resourced schools — are issues I have dealt with my whole life. It’s time to have an At-Large Council Member who is from the neighborhood, who understands neighborhoods, and who puts neighborhoods first. I’m excited to work with all Davidson County residents.

To that end, my "One Nashville" Plan starts with my vision to make our streets safer, improve schools in every neighborhood, create economic growth across the county, and lay out a fiscal path that moves away from taxing seniors and families who can least afford it.

Let's shape Nashville's Future Together.

A THRIVING CAREER
